A group in Kineton called Getting Kineton Growing have negotiated with Stratford District Council to have two demonstration plots on the village green in a bid to encourage local residents to try their hand at growing vegetables.

Getting Kineton Growing will be handing out leaflets and information about the project at Kineton Farmer's Market this Saturday (July 11th).

ReplyDeleteThis programme is great cos it's based on eating seasonally with local produce. It includes a feature about the right to graze animals on common land. A woman keeps a beef herd in the middle of cambridge.
Thanks for the programme info. I watched it. I'd love to find out how that woman won over the council. I could keep some goats on Newbold Comyn.
